Safety is one of SBB's core competencies. The dedicated department is thus in charge of safety management throughout the Group. Accidents are assessed, countermeasures devised and their implementation monitored centrally.

Dipl. Ing. ETH, Lic.jur., MBA. Joined SBB in 1987, first as management trainee, then in various management positions in Infrastructure Operations Management.
