The Finance Department is responsible for the financial management of SBB and its subsidiaries. The department ensures that the Group has uniform accounting principles and consolidated actual and target figures. It procures and manages financial resources and is responsible for controlling investments and holdings at Group level. It is also responsible for tax matters and central insurance management.

Graduate of the Höhere Wirtschafts- und Verwaltungsschule (HWV), Zurich, Swiss Certified Controller at the Institut für Betriebsökonomie, Zurich, and graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston. Most recently Group Chief Financial Officer and member of the Group Executive Board of SR Technics in Zurich/Kloten.
