Corporate Development is an important instrument in the strategic management of the Group. It is from here that the SBB’s strategic process and the corresponding processes at its individual business units are directed and monitored. Group Development also supports the Management Board in the drafting and development of Group strategy based on integrated long-term plans from the divisions and business units. Corporate Development manages projects that are of particular importance to the continued development of the SBB Group, that have special strategic relevance or have targets that reach across multiple business units. Corporate Development also helps the internal management consultancy services to expand and progress and is responsible for making use of and nurturing knowledge within SBB. Its responsibilities also include the promotion and coordination of strategic relationships with neighbouring railway companies at Group level.

Holder of commercial diploma, MBA. With SBB since 2010, latterly as Head of Corporate Development in the Passenger Division. Previously Head of Marketing then Head of Market and Transport at DB Stadtverkehr.
